The Uncharted Adventure Continues in Lost Legacy

Naughty Dog reveals all new Uncharted single player story “Lost Legacy” set in India with new heroes to control, Chloe and Nadine, due in 2017

Naughty Dog officially announced Uncharted 4 single-player DLC titled Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The trailer kicked off the PlayStation press conference at PSX in Anaheim this weekend. It features Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross in an all-new single player story.

In case you don’t recognize them they are Chloe Frazer (Claudia Black) and Nadine Ross (Laura Bailey). Chloe is a thief we first met in Uncharted 2 and Nadine is the head of the Shoreline Mercenary Group who teamed up with Uncharted 4 antagonist Rafe Adler to find a lost pirate treasure. They have very different personalities and working styles but they are both complete badasses.

Players will take control of Chloe, who is working with Nadine, in this new adventure. Chloe is on a mission “to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer”. Which seems like a far cry from her days stealing artifacts from Turkish museums. You will get to explore India, a place Nathan has yet to visit but one that should offer plenty of stunning landscape and ancient lore and architecture.

Uncharted 4 LostLegacyLockpick

The Naughty Dog team say this game will have all the hallmarks of the Uncharted franchise including platforming, action, and close calls.  They have made a few changes including creating and shooting all new melee animations for the new heroines. You may also notice in the gameplay new mechanics such as lock picking.

This is being presented as a stand-alone story which means you will not need to own Uncharted 4 already to enjoy it. It is not part of Naughty Dog’s Multiplayer road map of free DLC. However, If you purchased the Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe or Explorers Pack you will receive Lost Legacy for free according to Naughty Dog.  You have until December 13th to grab that deal otherwise you will have to buy it separately sometime in 2017.
