The live stream, brought to us by Collider, gave us a first look at a few of the heroes that will be joining the roster of over 200 characters as confirmed earlier this summer at the San Diego Comic Con. Panelists including Arthur Parsons of TT Games, Bill Rosemann and Ryan Panagos of Marvel, and Kang aficionado Kurt Busiek.

We got a better look at the Old West part of Chronopolis as well many Western Marvel characters including Arizona Annie, Kid Colt, and the Phantom Rider. There were a ton of cool reveals on top of that though. The panel revealed Marvel icons such as Ghost Rider, Misty Knight, Red Wolf, and Blade plus a few lesser known characters such as Captain Avalon (a medieval Cap), Ursa Major (Mutant Bear experiment), Super Adaptoid (AIM creation capable of copying superpowers), Living Totem (an alien that looks a lot like a Totem Poll), Lady Spider (Steampunk spider-person May Reilly), Noire Luke Cage (Pretty self explanatory).

Take a look at screenshots from the stream below:

Before their panel, Arthur Parsons also showed off the new character creation system for making your own superheroes. TT Games has built a very comprehensive character customizer that allows players to create any hero they want.

Players will have control over all the basic elements including choosing leg, torso, hand, head, and hair pieces. They can mix and match and color every piece however they choose. It looks as though you will be able to choose from a collection of both generic and character-specific elements to create your hero.

That’s not all because when you are done creating your perfect character you can also pick his or her abilities. Mapping Marvel’s vast collection of powers to your characters different attacks. Players can customize their attacks right down to its elemental makeup. It should be pretty cool to see all the possibilities.

During the character creation demo he also confirmed a number of characters including:

  • Baron Mordor
  • Baron Zemo
  • Eliza (Noire Elektra)
  • Hammerhead
  • Yellowjacket
  • Venom 2099
  • Wong
  • Bulls-Eye
  • Korg (Thor Ragnorok)
  • Shocker
  • Scorpion
  • Black Cat
  • Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly)
